How Will I Feel at 35 Weeks Pregnant?

It’s a good time to pack your hospital bag and start thinking seriously about making a birth plan, or at least thinking about the kinds of things that might happen in labour so you can be better informed about your choices. There are loads of great antenatal classes out there and your midwife should be able to recommend one at your hospital so that you can meet other local mums-to-be and spend some time learning about childbirth in more detail. It’s likely you’ll be struggling with things like heartburn or indigestion and the urge to pee.

How Big is my Baby at 35 Weeks Pregnant?

Your baby is now 18 inches long and is getting ready to say hello to the world. They’re about the size of a honeydew melon. Between now and the moment that they’re born they will be adding fat to their body to be able to better cope with the transition from the womb to the real world. Their skull is still soft and with any luck they should now be in position with their head down, ready for labour. Their soft skull will help them to exit your womb as the bones can move while being squeezed through the birth canal.
