How Will I Feel at 8 Weeks?

You will probably still be feeling extremely tired as your body accommodates all the surges in hormones. There’s a high chance your breasts will be feeling tender and they may be growing – you may even need to go up a cup size or two. Make sure you get your breasts measured and get a supportive maternity bra – you won’t regret it.

During this early stage of pregnancy it’s a good idea to take good care of yourself and take it easy.

How Big is My Baby at 8 Weeks?

Your little baby is about the size of a kidney bean and is growing rapidly. There are all kinds of developments this week as their embryonic tail starts to disappear and the nerve cells in the brain start branching out to connect with each other. At the moment it’s not possible to tell whether you’re having a boy or a girl as the external sex organs are still forming. You should be able to tell the baby’s gender during your 20 week scan.
