Here at Channel Mum we’ve done some research and discovered that 92% of mums admit to feeling lonely – a shocking statistic we’re sure you’ll agree and despite the fact many of you feel like that, we want you to know that you are not alone, or YANA as we like to call it.

Then tag us on social using the hashtag and let us know how you got on! What’s the worst that could happen? You’ll get out of the house and maybe people will think you’re a bit forward … but maybe, just maybe, you’ll make a lonely mum feel good and you might even make a new mum friend, too – we think that’s worth trying.
1 Go to a toddler group or baby class and sit with a mum who’s there alone
2 Go to the park and chat to another mum who is there by herself
3 Smile at every other mum you meet
4 Get the phone number of one of the mums you meet today
5 Text them and arrange to meet for that coffee!
