We were overwhelmed by the amazing response to our Vlogstars competition. A huge thank you to everyone that took the time and trouble to enter in our search for a vlogger to join the team. We had hundreds and hundreds of entries and the standard was so high – we’d like to thank each and every one one of you, whether it was the first time you’d ever had a go at vlogging or you’ve got thousands of subscribers, we watched and agonised over every single entry.
A huge congratulations to our Vlogstars winner, mum of three Jodie Izzo, she’s not vlogged before and her application video was the first time she’d had a go at vlogging. You can find her very first video here. We’re looking forward to seeing more of you over the coming months Jodie!
We couldn’t just choose one winner, we’re delighted to announce that ten more vloggers are joining Channel Mum this month:
Amy being Mum
Holly Matthews Online
Nomadi Daddy & The Tiny Mumma
Bibiana Yetty Vlogs
Lucy Jessica Carter
Vlogstars has never been about just one person, everyone that entered has a special story to tell in their own unique way, if this was the first time you had a go at vlogging please don’t get discouraged… keep going, vlog often, even if you never publish those first vlogs, until you find your groove. Once you feel ready, and are vlogging at least 3 times a month for three months, come back and add your channel here.
If you’re already vlogging, we realise how silly it is to not involve you, so you may be pleased to hear we’re working on something quite new to involve you in the Channel Mum Village at a much deeper level. There are millions of mums in this country and nearly 600,000 new mums every year: they will all want to find their favourite mum vloggers, so if you really love vlogging there is room for everyone, watch this space!
Whether you’re new to vlogging, have been thinking you should make your first vlog or maybe you’ve been vlogging your heart out for months or years and you’ve finally decided this is the year you turn your hobby into a job. Well, this competition is for you. Channel Mum are on the search for ONE very special parenting vlog star to join us – and the prize is pretty awesome.

Why you should enter
Oh and it’s not just about one ‘star’. EVERY mum has a story to tell so if you are a vlogger (or think you might like to vlog), you can still join Channel Mum as a contributor…. After all, life as a mum can be SO lonely and confusing but with Channel Mum you are never alone, you’re a part of the Channel Mum Village and other people want to hear what YOU have to say.
If you’ve not done it already, link up your You Tube Channel – it’s so easy. (You just need to have been vlogging three times a month for three months to add your channel.) If you need inspiration on getting started with vlogging, check out our how to vlog section.
