Here’s what’s going on in the Channel Mum Shedquarters week commencing 31st October. Simply pop to our home page or social channels each day to join the conversation – we’d LOVE to hear from you!
MONDAY – Happy Halloween! We’ve spooktacular recipes, easy carving ideas, fun crafts and last minute costume ideas in our Halloween section.
Don’t miss our fab competition on our Facebook page where you can win a £100 Next voucher when you show us your pumpkins, decorations and costumes!
Plus we’ve got a special Mum SOS about leaving your children home alone. Would you? Have you? What age is acceptable? Our chat is sparked by the fact that Michael Gove was splashed across the papers for leaving his 11 year old son alone in a hotel on Saturday night.
Pop over today to our Instagram to see a takeover from Meet the Wildes, the fabulous same sex parents who have two sets of twins who are two and under!
TUESDAY – Once Halloween is out of the way it’s time to get ready for Bonfire Night and no fireworks party is complete without a selection of scrummy food. Tune in to see what’s on offer at Iceland; get a big bag of marshmallows to toast on the fire, see the delicious Chef Lasagne, plus loads more delicious ideas.
WEDNESDAY – It’s National Fertility Awareness Week, which highlights the issues of people struggling to conceive. Vlogger, Jules Furness will be sharing her story in a video called Fertility Myths Busted. If you’re struggling to conceive we have videos just for you from other mums going through the same.
THURSDAY – Set your alarm for 11.30am, grab a cuppa and head to our Facebook page for our LIVE round-up of all the best parenting news and stories that have got us all talking – we want to know what YOU think. Click the like button on Facebook now so you’ll be notified when Katy and Anna from Hey Mummy go live.
And finally, don’t forget that every Friday we’ll be highlighting a Vlog Of The Week. We’d love to hear who you’d nominate, tweet us @ChannelMum using #CMVlogoftheWeek to let us know which vlogs have caught your eye.
Have a great week everyone!
