Vlog Stars Competition

Whether you’re new to vlogging, have been thinking you should make your first vlog or maybe you’ve been vlogging your heart out for months or years and you’ve finally decided this is the year you turn your hobby into a job. Well, this competition is for you. Channel Mum are on the search for ONE very special parenting vlog star to join us – and the prize is pretty awesome.

You could win:

  • A one year paid vlogging contract with Channel Mum*
  • The chance to star in a video on Channel Mum
  • A Canon G7X camera

How to enter
There are two things you need to do to enter…

ENTRY PART ONE: Record a 60 second (or less) video entry telling us why we should pick you. Simply pop it on YouTube as unlisted. If you’re already a vlogger tell us all about you in your video and show us your best bits from some of your other videos. If you’re new to vlogging just record a video entry on your mobile phone, tell us about you and your family and your interests (and what you plan to vlog about of course) so we can get to know you, then upload it to YouTube. Simple! Watch the Vlog Stars video below to see how to upload your video and set it to unlisted.

ENTRY PART TWO: Once your video is on YouTube and set to unlisted then please complete this short entry form.

Closing Date
The Vlog Stars competition closes on 1st March 2017 so don’t hang around!

Why you should enter
Oh and it’s not just about one ‘star’. EVERY mum has a story to tell so if you are a vlogger (or think you might like to vlog), you can still join Channel Mum as a contributor…. After all, life as a mum can be SO lonely and confusing but with Channel Mum you are never alone, you’re a part of the Channel Mum Village and other people want to hear what YOU have to say.

If you’ve not done it already, link up your You Tube Channel – it’s so easy. (You just need to have been vlogging three times a month for three months to add your channel.) If you need inspiration on getting started with vlogging, check out our how to vlog section.

Terms and Conditions
Usual Channel Mum terms and conditions apply. * The Channel Mum contract fee is £200 per month for 12 months with the opportunity of being put forward for additional paid work with Channel Mum. To be considered you must have completed both part one and part two of the entry process. Any entries completed without an application video will be disregarded. You must not be signed to any other agency at the time of joining and for the duration of the contract with Channel Mum. You must be a parenting vlogger and based in the UK or Ireland to enter. Entries will be judged on creativity, passion and originality. Telephone interviews may be held in the event of a draw to determine our one winner. The judges decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into. Competition closes 1st March 2017 and the winner will be announced within four weeks of the closing date.
