These cinnamon rolls are such an easy bake – why not make them this weekend with the kids? Any type of apple will do.
250g puff pastry
1 apple, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 tablespoon icing sugar
1 teaspoon water
– Preheat oven to 190C.
– Roll out pastry.
– Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on.
– Now the cubed apple.
– Roll up and slice into 3cm rounds.
– Pop on lined tray. Brush with melted butter. Bake for about 17 minutes.
– Mix icing sugar and water. Drizzled onto cooled pastries.
