We had an unexpected adventure this week when I was asked to come home early from work as Holly wasn’t feeling too good.
We went to see an emergency GP who gave us some antibiotics for a suspected infection and were told that if there was any change to either mum or baby, then we should go straight to hospital.
En route to collect the prescription, I had to pull the car over and Holly leaned out and was sick all over her new shoes at the side of the road.
This resulted in us diverting to hospital and being admitted into the labour ward.
Bump was connected to a load of monitoring machines which showed a healthy heartbeat, but it also showed that Mumma was having regular contractions… Had our baby decided to come early?
