What to pack for a trip with kids

The first thing you will need to do is write a list. Then you need to go back over the list and see if you really will need everything on it. If your children are a bit older, it can be a good idea to involve your children in the process, although you might want to keep it manageable by setting them the task of choosing 2 toys to take or 3 books perhaps.

Packing to fly abroad with a baby or toddler

The main thing you need to be aware of is what you can and can’t take in hand luggage. It is a good idea to check this directly with your airline long before flying and take note of the special rules that are often in place for baby formula. Most airlines allow one checked bag per person. Do check the airline’s specific rules regarding buggies and car seats – most are allowed as a free addition.
