It can be hard to find inspiration for kind acts you and your children can do – whilst some present themselves to you in everyday life, sometimes you have to search a little to find ways you can help. Giving to charity or volunteering are bigger things you can do but often it’s the small random acts of kindness that make the biggest difference. If you’ve been on the receiving end of an act of kindness you know how good it can make you feel and it makes you want to pay it forward. Simple things, such as kind words to a mum who’s dealing with a toddler having a public tantrum, calling in on an elderly neighbour, helping a stranger struggling with heavy bags or even reaching out to a friend who’s going through a hard time cause a growing ripple of kindness. Small things can, and often do, help.
