You can also chat to other mums and professionals in the Channel Mum Support Group.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but where’s that village when you really need it? We’re right here! You can chat to other mums and professionals about depression, anxiety or anything else in the Channel Mum Support Group.
It’s perfect when you have a question or need a rant about parenthood, or perhaps you’re having a good day, in which case, head over there and support another mum – your Mum Village is waiting for you! Our closed Channel Mum Facebook group is full of friendly mums all waiting to chat too.
The five step #CMYANA (you are not alone) Channel Mum Challenge is aimed at helping mums feel less alone.
Our research shows that 9 out of 10 mums are lonely, maybe you’re a lonely mum, maybe you’re not, either way, we challenge you to follow our five step #CMYANA Challenge and try out the following!
Then tag us on social using the hashtag and let us know how you got on! What’s the worst that could happen? You’ll get out of the house and maybe people will think you’re a bit forward … but maybe, just maybe, you’ll make a lonely mum feel good and you might even make a new mum friend, too – we think that’s worth trying.
1 Go to a toddler group or baby class and sit with a mum who’s there alone
2 Go to the park and chat to another mum who is there by herself
3 Smile at every other mum you meet
4 Get the phone number of one of the mums you meet today
5 Text them and arrange to meet for that coffee!
