Welcome to the newest edition of Channel Mum Meets … in this series we have a good old natter with some of our favourite mummies that are rocking life, and get a decent dose of gossip.
This time we sent Holly Matthews to visit Jo Tutchener-Sharp, the founder of unisex fashion brand Scamp & Dude. She formed Scamp & Dude shortly after suffering with a brain haemorrhage and having to have brain surgery. Her ordeal gave her a fresh outlook on life and she decided she wanted to do something good. And good she most certainly did!
Scamp & Dude is a clothing brand specially designed for kids who have lost a parent, or whose parent is away from them in hospital. The clothes and the Superhero Comforter Cushions help to stop children from feeling so alone, and they all sport the tag line ‘A Superhero Has My Back’. For every item sold, another is donated to a child who has lost a parent.
