I made this video for the 15 year old me, for the 22 year old me, for the brand new mum me, for the me who used to look in the mirror on bad days and hear words like “ugly”, “lazy” and “worthless”. We are more than what’s on the outside. Everyone is worthy of love, and it starts with ourselves.
Much love to you all,
Big thanks to the inspiring ladies who helped me make this video, find them all on Instagram here and give them a follow (if you’re not following already):

(And another thank you to Jane and Emma who will forever pop up in the occasional video after agreeing to be filmed jumping in a freezing cold swimming pool with me back in April. Love you ladies!
Disco queen, turned journalist, turned presenter, turned mum, I live in Devon with my husband and two daughters, Freya and Effie.
I like hot cups of tea, cold glasses of wine, pretty cushions and cheese. In another life I believe I was Stevie Nicks or Debbie Harry. My main ambition in life is to become the fourth member of Haim – I’m still waiting for the call.
This channel began as a way to document funny family moments and share the realities of parenting – celebrating the bits that don’t make it to Instagram.
Fast-forward to now and I still share snippets of family life, but these days I mainly vlog about confidence and body image, through sharing little family vlogs and sit-down chatty videos. You’ll also find videos about fashion, beauty and interiors with a hefty dose of self-love advice thrown in.
