One day in Cannes with kids!

Lindsay Lovering

We visited Cannes whilst on a Mediterranean Cruise with our two girls aged 4 & 6 and had the best day.
We went and booked a helicopter ride as soon as we arrived and only had to wait about 10 minutes before we could take to the skies. We used the helicopter place that’s right in front of you as you walk from the ship and it costs 40 euros per person for about an 8 minute ride which with little ones is more than enough and i think really reasonable although it’s worth noting only three people can go in the helicopter. If you have more people then you can go in a bigger helicopter but it pushes the price up quite a bit. I chose to watch whist my husband and girls went.
After this we walked around the harbour for about 10 minutes and rode the double storey carousel which the girls loved. The town is right as you leave the ship so you don’t need to catch buses or taxis and there is a tourist train if you don’t fancy walking or are too hot/tired.There is also a lovely little beach where you can swim and sunbathe.
