TO PEE OR NOT TO PEE – THE NEED FOR ‘CHANGING PLACES’ DISABLED TOILETS | HUMAN RIGHTS

Elizabeth

Have you spent the whole day out and not been able to go to the toilet? Well, hundreds of thousands of people in the UK, let alone the rest of the world, need to access toilets which have facilities which mean that they can pee on a day out, but aren’t able to. Standard ‘accessible’ toilets are just not good enough for people with complex needs.

Why should we have to be marginalised like this? Going to the loo is a basic human right!
